Oh, I loved Bel Canto! And the Red Tent. What a great idea, I love this list.
So agree with The Red Tent and The Unbearable Lightness of Being...I couldn't get in to Bel Canto but then again, I was packing up and moving in less than 3 weeks with a 13 month old - might have to give it a shot - Have you read The Time Travelers Wife? I had it on my shelf for a year and thought oh well, I guess I'll read it and it was amazing...
Wendy, I almost think I have Time Travellors Wfe on my shelf...I'm going to have to check. :) Bel Canto was a book that I wasn't really interested in to begin with, but I got into it and it was GREAT. :)
